About the Band
The Pub Kats are a high-energy band from Solano County bringing fun and entertainment to crowds by providing an exciting show with positive vibes. The band formed in 2017 in the Solano County area. The Pub Kats are known for delivering good times through strong musicianship, crowd interaction, and great song selection with tons of variety. Each band member brings over 40 years of honed skills to live performances. The Pub Kats aim to keep their set lists updated regularly and are sure to play songs you will not hear at other shows!
Whether you are looking for great classic rock hits to bring back memories, killer funk grooves, country music for line dancing or even want to “do the twist” to the oldies, the Pub Kats are your band for high energy dance music that will keep you moving all night long! Being known for lively performances with crowd interaction and participation, the Pub Kats mix it up throughout the night playing your favorite hits from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s 80’s and 90’s. Full, rich, dynamic, and crystal clean music reproduction is provided at events utilizing a 4000-watt Bose P/A system which fills any venue with premium sound.
The Pub Kats recall an era when music was everything… a time when music was recorded on magnetic tape, released on vinyl records, 8-tracks & cassette tapes. The Pub Kats are sure to put a smile on your face, and a dance in your step, as you hear your favorite songs from the decades when we were younger, times were simpler, and music was less electronic.
The Pub Kats band members include Brian Krauth lead vocals, Ted Christian guitar and vocals, Bill Berriman guitar and vocals, Shane Tyler bass guitar and vocals, Darrell Echols drums and vocals and Jeff Curtis Keyboards.

Brian krauth- lead Vocals
Brian's earliest musical memories as a young boy are of his mom singing and playing the piano. Throughout elementary and junior high school he sang in school choirs.
Some of Brian's musical influences include Peter Frampton, Steve Perry, Doobie Brothers, Creedence and Stevie Wonder.
After junior high school Brian didn't pursue anything musically, but knew one day he would be back on stage.
Singing in church at Unity of the Valley Spiritual Center in Vacaville rekindled that musical fire, and shortly thereafter he joined a band called Idlewild with fellow bandmate Shane Tyler. After a brief stint with Idlewild, we formed a new band in 2017 called the Pub Kats...
And the rest they say is history!
Darrell Lee - Drums
Darrell has been a fixture on the local Solano County music scene for decades playing everything from Classic Rock, Funk and Soul, Fusion, Jazz and fits into all enjoyable styles of music. He has been a past band leader with the now defunct band, The Black Rock Project and is also a founding member of the Time Bandits.
Darrell plays guitar, keyboards, bass, drums and percussion. He's also a composer, arranger and songwriter as well as a US Army veteran from Scott AFB, Illinois.
